Ownership and Architecture
Owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi, the hotel was designed by Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo and constructed by BESIX. The project commenced in December 2001, with a construction cost of approximately $3 billion, making it one of the most expensive hotels ever built.
